Stick It Down Scrapbook and Card Making Challenges - September 2025

Happy September everyone ! New month means new sketches at Stick it Down Scrapbook and Card Making Challenges. This month's sketch is by Bethany and I followed the sketch closely for my double page layout and really enjoyed the creative challenge. Since I don’t have a cutting machine or large letter dies, I printed the word “Summer” and cut it out by hand. I loved the pale yellow and red combination which I paired with elements from Simple Stories Sunny Days and word phrases from The Works. For the background, I inked white cardstock with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink, then trimmed and mounted it onto black cardstock to create a bold border. The photos feature my granddaughter on the slide at a local park, which has a lovely message engraved on a stone near the entrance. It quotes Dr. Seuss: “If you never did, you SHOULD.
