Double Page Layout - Stick it Down September 2024

This layout is one of my favourites that I’ve created for Stick It Down Scrapbook and Card Making Challenges.

The sketch, designed by Bethany, immediately caught my eye. Once I worked through the layering, it came together beautifully and made quite a striking page featuring photos from a Thames river cruise in Oxford. 

I used layered papers with the centre framed in black cardstock, adding a torn strip along the bottom of both pages for texture and movement. Following the sketch closely, I split one photo across the left and right pages to guide the eye across the layout. Even with an extra photo added, there’s still plenty of space for journaling.

To finish, I added a information card from the actual trip—a small detail that adds a lovely personal touch and helps preserve the memory.
